Date of birth: 3 August 1958. In 1975 I entered Donetsk Polytecnic Institute, Specialty mine surveyor. In 1980 I graduated and was offered a job of scientific research engineer and assistant at the Geodesy Department of the institute until 1988. From 1981 to 1991 I performed aerial survey of open pit mines of Tyrnyauzskij  wolfram-molibdene integrated plant (North Caucasus).

1988 - 1991 I pursued post-graduate studies under the supervision of Professor Mogil’ny S.G. In 1994 I successfully defended my  dissertation for Candidate’s degree on the topic “Principles of creating automated working place for a mining surveyor in opencast deposit development”, specialty 05.15.01  "Mine surveying”. In 1996 I was awarded readership.

From 1998 to 2001 I carried out research for PhD degree in Donetsk National Technical University. In 2006 I defended my  dissertation for Doctor’s degree “Scientific basis of 3D modeling and informational mining support of opencast mining”, specialty  05.15.01 "Mine surveying”. In  2011 I was awarded academic rank of Professor of Geoinformatics and Geodesy Department. So far I am the author of 150 published scientific works.

From September 2014 I have been working in Engineering Geodesy and Mining Department, SSUGT.
